It is my great pleasure and honor to welcome you all to the 2023 Annual Meeting of the Southeastern Neuroradiological Society! As your program chair, I am thrilled to be a part of this year’s event, which features a diverse group of speakers and topics covering some of the most exciting developments in our field.
This year’s meeting promises to be a truly unforgettable experience. We have gathered some of the most renowned and respected experts in neuroradiology to share their insights and knowledge with us. We created a program that is designed to challenge and inspire you. We want you to leave the meeting with new ideas, perspectives, and tools that will enhance your clinical practice and benefit your patients. Our topics range from the latest advancements in cerebrovascular imaging to the use of artificial intelligence in neuroradiology. We have something for everyone, regardless of your subspecialty.
Our Keynote Speaker is Dr. Max Wintermark, MD, Professor and Chair of Neuroradiology at University of Texas MD Anderson Center. Dr. Wintermark is a renowned researcher, mentor, and clinician who has received numerous recognitions and roles, including the former President of the American Society of Functional Neuroradiology and the Chair of the ASNR Research Committee. He has also been named the new Editor-in-Chief of one of our subspecialty’s premier journals, the American Journal of Neuroradiology.
But it’s not just the topics and speakers that make this event so special. It’s the opportunity to connect with colleagues and friends from across the region. We have designed the program to facilitate networking and collaboration, with ample time for discussion and socializing. Some events you do not want to miss include the popular “Stump the Stars” event, as well as reception and dinner on Thursday and Friday evenings. I am looking forward to seeing old friends and making new ones at the meeting.
