The Greenbrier Resort The resort is a 90 minute drive from the Roanoke airport (ROA) in Roanoke, Virginia or 15 minutes from the Greenbrier Valley airport (LWB) in Lewisburg, West Virginia. The Greenbrier Resort winds through the manicured grounds of one of the finest resorts in the world, alongside legendary fairways of four championship golf courses, surrounded by amazing views of the Allegheny Mountains. Amidst the expansive, manicured landscape of The Greenbrier stands the Springhouse, an enduring trademark of the resort’s iconic image. Under the dome of this structure flows the White Sulphur Spring; the mineral water responsible for the origin of this premier resort. The history is incredibly fascinating for those of you interested. The Greenbrier was the former U.S. Government Relocation Facility which was a top secret of the Cold War designed to accommodate both the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives in the event of a national emergency.

This includes local and toll free phone calls, wireless internet access, on property ground transportation, use of the swimming pool, fitness center, historical tours and slide presentations. Bellmen, doormen and others who render intermittent personal services are not included in the service charge. There is an additional charge for a 3rd and/or 4th person in room. Room rates are subject to 6% West Virginia state sales tax and 3% county occupancy tax. Valet parking is available at $20 per day. Self-parking is complimentary. Check in time: 4:00 pm. Check out time: 11:00 am. Reservations must be received by September 3, 2022 to receive the group rate. After that date, rooms will be subject to availability at the prevailing rate. A deposit in the amount of one night’s room charge is required. Late arrival/early departure causes forfeiture of deposit, unless cancellation or changes are made 14 days in advance of your scheduled arrival date.
